ELCOMETER 208 Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge

Rugged & repeatable hand held gauges designed to non destructively measure the thickness of metal substrates whilst ignoring the thickness of up to 2mm ( 80mils) of an applied coating ( Echo to Echo mode) . Supplied with or without data logging, each gauge can be used with the wide range of measurement transducers and is supplied with a wide range of functionality including Scan mode and Alarm mode. Echo-to-Echo Mode: Measuring materials as thin as 0.15mm ( 0.006” ) the Echo-to-Echo mode ignores the thickness of any coating applied to the surface under inspection. Scan Mode: Measuring up to 16 readings per second, the gauge captures the minimum recorded thickness. Alarm Mode: Once a minimum acceptable thickness has been set, a red LED illuminates and a buzzer sounds if a measurement falls below the preset value. = = = > >
